As we step into a new year, it is important to look back at the journey so far. 2011 was a transformative year for this blog and my involvement with the global integration community. With over 91,000 visits and 57 new posts, the growth has been truly humbling.

📝 One-Minute Brief

Sandro Pereira looks back at a monumental year for his blog in 2011, which saw over 91,000 visits and 57 new posts. Key highlights include the launch of content for the Portuguese and Brazilian communities, contributions to MSDN Code Gallery, and the success of popular resources like the BizTalk 2010 Installation guide and Visio stencils. The year marked a significant expansion in community engagement and technical authorship.

This year was defined by several new ventures:

  • I began writing in my native language for the Portuguese and Brazilian community.
  • I began to write articles for Portuguese Community Magazines
  • I began to make public presentations for Portuguese Communities
  • And I began to contribute in MSDN Code Gallery
  • I had the opportunity to give to my readers 7 e-copies of two BizTalk books

And of course, not forgetting my blog: 57 new posts in 2011.

Crunchy numbers

In 2011, there were 57 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 165 posts. That’s about 1 post per week.

The busiest day of the year was October 19th with 736 views. The most popular post that day was BizTalk 2010 Installation and Configuration – Installing and Configuring BizTalk Server (Part 8).

Where did you come from?

Most visitors came from the United States. India & The United Kingdom were not far behind.
