Friday (funny) Fact: Logic App Consumption accepts Emojinal Parameters

Some facts can be funny, and we already spoke briefly last Friday about this funny parameter feature inside the Logic App Consumption. I even asked ChatGPT to help create a witty title for this blog post, something that the tool suggested:

  • Parameter Party: Now with 100% More Emojis 🎉🛠️
  • Emojinal Parameters: When Logic Apps Get in Their Feels 😭🤖
  • Logic Appetit: Serving Up 🍔 Parameters with a Side of 😂
  • 🧠 + 🤖 = 💥: The Emoji-fication of Logic Apps
  • CTRL + 😎: When Devs Start Speaking Emoji

Then I asked for more dev humor, and this was what I got:

  • 💻 Emojify Your Logic: Parameters Gone Wild 🤯
  • “Emoji-fying the Backend: Because Logic Apps Deserve a 🤖
  • 🍕 + 🤖 = Logic App Parameters (Dev Life Hacks)
  • Code, Coffee, and Emojis: The New Logic App Syntax ☕💾

  • Wired for Emojis: Devs + Logic Apps = 🤓💥

The fun reality is that Parameters inside Logic App Consumption are like a small jungle where almost everything is allowed. And yes, this is a fact: we can use emojis to set up the name of our parameters inside Logic App Consumption.

For example, can create two parameters:

  • One with a document emoji 📄to describe the document type
  • and another with a clock emoji ⏰to define the delay value we will be using inside our business process.

And then we can use that emoji to set up our delay action with an image instead of a standard text

If we save it, we will see that we get a successfully saved workflow!

It’s pretty funny but friendly advice. Just because it is possible doesn’t mean that you should do it. Please do not implement this inside your Logic Apps Consumption. Use this just for fun!
