A Different Kind of Post
Today, I want to write about a slightly different topic. It is still related to technology, but it is not a technical post.
And no—I’m not feeling special, proud, or honored today just because it’s my birthday.
A Special Moment in My Journey
January 1st, 2011, will always be a special day for me. That was the day I received my first Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award—an unexpected and incredible surprise.
This year marks my seventh consecutive year in the MVP Program. From day one, it has been a rewarding and inspiring journey.
For many years, I was the first—and the only—MVP at DevScope. However, that alone is not why I feel special today.
What truly matters to me is the opportunity to help grow a stronger culture of collaboration. Over the years, I have tried to encourage people to share knowledge, contribute to the community, and collaborate on small projects. Sometimes, that meant mentoring. Other times, it meant simply giving someone a small push in the right direction.
📝 One-Minute Brief
This post is a personal reflection on receiving the Microsoft MVP award for the seventh consecutive year, highlighting gratitude for the community, the DevScope team, and the importance of mentoring, collaboration, and personal growth within the technology ecosystem.
Proud of the Team and the Company
Today, I feel especially proud to be part of a company that has stayed true to its core values over the years.
DevScope continues to focus on cutting‑edge technology, early adoption, and innovation. At the same time, it never loses sight of what truly matters: people and their personal and professional growth.
I also feel incredibly proud to work alongside such a talented team. Today, DevScope includes three MVPs, one former MVP, and one Microsoft Regional Director. Very few companies worldwide can say that.
Even more importantly, new talent continues to grow and emerge every year.

A Personal Note
Of course, let’s be fair.
I also feel special, proud, and honored today because it is my birthday—and I am lucky enough to have an amazing family, a job I love, and the best friends in the world.
