On June 4, 2025, alongside my partner Contica, we hosted our live webinar From BizTalk to Azure: A Guide for the Slightly Terrified — the first part of a series we will be doing, and it was an incredibly fun and interesting session!

The main question we addressed in that webinar was: Is BizTalk really dying? And if it is, what should we do? Yes, Ahmed Bayoumy and myself addressed the big elephant in the room: we all know that BizTalk Server is approaching end-of-life, and many organizations are still relying on it and for that reason we thoutgh to cut through the noise and give you a clear picture of what happens when support runs out, whether it still makes sense to invest in BizTalk Server, and what your options are moving forward.

If you are still relying on BizTalk Server but wondering how to make the leap to Azure integration services without losing sleep? Then this is for you. If you want to determine if it makes sense to stay with BizTalk Server, then this session is also for you. You’re not alone in this situation!

📝 One-Minute Brief

This webinar recording will address:

  • A timeline of BizTalk’s support lifecycle and what it means for you
  • The business and technical risks of staying too long
  • Key indicators that it’s time to start planning your exit

This is our first of four webinars that we have planned (at least for now). The goal is to take you on a trip from BizTalk Server to Azure Integration Services migration.

If you miss the webinar or just want to recap what you saw, the recording is now online on YouTube here:

Hope you find this helpful! So, if you liked the content or found it helpful and want to help me write more, you can consider buying (or helping to buy) my son a Star Wars Lego set.
