It’s Friday, and you know what that means—it’s time for a Friday Fact that will either make you nostalgic or slightly relieved.
Did you know? The old deprecated Logic Apps Designer is officially no longer available in the Azure Portal! That’s right—Azure has officially packed its bags and moved on, and we can no longer switch from the new designer to the old. Now we only have one designer!
But wait! If you’re one of those developers who still work with Logic App Consumption inside Visual Studio 2019, you might just spot a ghost of the past… 👀
The reason is that the Visual Studio 2019 Logic App Consumption tool hasn’t been updated, at least not yet! For that reason, you can still find the old deprecated Logic Apps Designer. It’s like a hidden relic of a time gone by, living in a developer’s IDE instead of the cloud.
So, here’s a toast to the old Logic Apps Designer—may it rest in the archives of Visual Studio 2019! But not for many times… at least for us developers, we hope so!
