The BizTalk Filter Finder tool has been updated and is now more powerful. Thanks to the contributions of Michał Plutyński, this new version introduces several useful enhancements.
For those unfamiliar with the tool, BizTalk Filter Finder helps simplify the analysis and maintenance of solutions that rely on content‑based and context‑based routing.
In addition, it supports scenarios with or without orchestrations, making it easier to understand complex pub‑sub architectures.

As a result, this tool extends the default BizTalk Server capabilities. It turns a tedious and sometimes complex analysis into a process that is simple, fast, and easy to understand.

📝 One-Minute Brief
Announces version 2.0.0 of the BizTalk Filter Finder Tool for BizTalk Server 2016, introducing environment selection, filter search capabilities, and usability improvements to simplify the analysis of content‑based routing.
What’s new in the release
- A new dropdown list that allows you to select your BizTalk Server environment (you can set them up in the config file). This way is better and easier to use in bigger teams with several environments.

- Add filters/search capabilities, allowing you to filter the existing subscriptions and only show filters with subscriptions that contain some text;

- Hotfix/improvements: Changes in reading orchestration list when it’s used a MessageBoxDb on a different server then ManagementDb.
