This post targets the Portuguese communities (Office 365, Integration, and others). The session will take place on January 30, 2019, from 18:50 to 20:30, during the XLVIII Porto.Data Community meeting at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto (UPTEC), in Porto.

Once again, it is a real pleasure to return to this community. This time, I will be speaking about PowerApps and Microsoft Flow, focusing on real case scenarios in a session titled:

📝 One-Minute Brief

Announces a community session at the XLVIII Porto.Data meeting, focused on showing real‑world scenarios of how Microsoft Flow and PowerApps are used in customer projects and internal solutions.

Abstract

In general, teams can solve business problems using a wide range of technologies and approaches. However, traditional development has often been too expensive and time‑consuming. As a result, many internal solutions—especially short‑term or departmental projects—never move beyond the idea stage.

Fortunately, these solutions already exist across platforms such as Dynamics 365, Office 365, on‑premises systems, and cloud services. They are everywhere—and they are powerful.

More importantly, developers can build them. IT teams can build them. And yes—you can build them too.

Microsoft Flow and PowerApps, whether used together or independently, help teams turn ideas into working solutions. Therefore, in this session, we will present real‑life scenarios showing how we use these technologies both with our customers and internally at DevScope.
