📝 One-Minute Brief

Join Sam Vanhoutte at TUGA IT 2016 for an exclusive look at the Azure IoT Suite. This session goes “behind the curtain” to explore the architectural components of Microsoft’s IoT platform, including IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, and DocumentDB. Learn how to move beyond simple connectivity to build scalable, end-to-end IoT solutions that integrate seamlessly with your existing enterprise systems.

Azure IoT Suite. A look behind the curtain

Azure IoT Suite was announced to simplify the creation and deployment of IoT solutions. However, many teams still wonder how much it truly abstracts and what remains under the hood.

In this session, Sam Vanhoutte provides a clear overview of the features and capabilities of Azure IoT Suite. Through live demos, he shows how to register devices, send telemetry, and exchange commands with IoT devices.

After the initial “magic,” the session dives into reality. Sam explains the individual components, discusses extensibility and customization, and highlights what teams must handle themselves.

By the end of the session, attendees gain a realistic understanding of Azure IoT Suite and how to apply it effectively in real‑world IoT scenarios.

Expect demos — and honest feedback.
