Thank you, Microsoft, for such a wonderful start to the new year.

I’m proud to share that I was renewed as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for the sixth consecutive year. This time, the award was granted in the Microsoft Azure MVP category.

A Personal Journey

Technology has been part of my life since childhood. I started playing with computers at the age of five or six, using a Timex Sinclair 2068. That first experience stayed with me and shaped my future.

Growing up, I spent hours playing games and competing with my older brother, cousins, and friends. Even back then, it felt natural that my path would lead to IT and computers.

Along the way, I was fortunate to meet the right people at the right time. They believed in me and encouraged my growth. For that, I want to give a special thank you to Rui Barbosa and José António Silva. Today, I’m grateful to work in a field I truly love.

Sharing Knowledge

A few years ago, I decided to start sharing my knowledge publicly. This blog began as a simple personal notebook. It was a way to have fun and escape daily stress.

Over time, it became much more. Sharing knowledge helped me grow as a person, broaden my perspective, and meet incredible people. Many of them became close friends.

Gratitude and Support

My wife often says that the computer is an extension of my personality. She met me that way and supports me exactly as I am. Fernanda, thank you for always encouraging me to be better.

I also want to express my sincere thanks to:

  • The Microsoft MVP Team
  • My MVP Leads, Cristina Herrero and Alessandro Teglia
  • The BizTalk and Azure Product Teams
  • Microsoft Portugal
  • All community members and blog readers

To my family, the BizTalkCrew (Nino Crudele, Tord Glad Nordahl, Saravana Kumar, and Steef‑Jan Wiggers), and all my coworkers at DevScope—thank you for your continued support over the years.

Looking Ahead

It is a true honor to be part of the Microsoft MVP Program. I’m excited about what lies ahead and look forward to another great year.

Enjoy life, follow your dreams, and—most importantly—have fun.
